Ask & you shall receive

Imagine my shock when I opened my Macy's Bill and realized I had not paid my previous month's bill. A whole load of four letter words escaped my lips that I won't repeat here, so needless to say I was pissed. Only at myself though, I had completely forgotten about this bill. I've kind of let my organization slip due to some other issues, but no more. I have begun reorganizing all my bills and expenses and this will not happen again. I also wondered if there was anything that I could do to have the fee removed, so I called the customer service line at Macy's and told them that I had honestly forgotten all about the bill. They reviewed my "perfect" payment history and immediately removed the late fee. So that saved me $29.00 I was a little bit surprised that it was so simple. Don't worry I have no plans on doing it again ever, but it is nice to know that even bill collectors have a heart. :-)
